PCS Gears Up for Robotics Week with New Products Launch

Today marks the beginning of National Robotics Week. Strengthening the company’s commitment to provide the tools and engaging learning experiences to build the next generation of engineers, PCS is focused on our new product launch. The excitement builds as we push out the news to local and national media and strategic partners about our Edventures 3DIC (3D Interactive Curriculum), and the groundbreaking upgrade to the PCS robotics controller and software. Our new interactive software combines the thrill of gaming with an engaging PCS educational experience for K-12 students.

PCS Expands Market Connections at International Technology and Engineering Educator’s Association Conference (ITEEA)

PCS Edventures attended the 76th annual International Technology and Engineering Educator’s Association Conference (ITEEA).

During the two day event over 100 educators, administrators, and education industry leaders stopped by our booth to learn more about the PCS Edventures approach to engineering and robotics education. The booth visitors received Edventures lesson sample packets, which included fischertechnik components, build instructions, and an educator’s guide to the STEM concepts supported by the sample build. The handouts were extremely popular with the crowd.

The educators were also shown the beta-version of the soon-to-be-released, Edventures 3DIC (3D Interactive Curriculum), and V5 Cortex software. The software products created excitement with their unrivaled functionality and cutting edge use of technology.

“I was pleased with the reception PCS products received,” said Michael Brown. “The strongest interest was in our products and curriculum for elementary grades. And there was genuine excitement about new software offering with 3DIC and the Cortex. This was the first market exposure of these items, and based on the reaction here, these will be huge for us.”

The show provided PCS with an abundance leads for product sales into classroom and afterschool programs across the country, and provided PCS with multiple opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships with other key players in the technology and engineering education market. Together, these contacts are likely to yield revenue in both immediate and the long term.

Stay tuned for more good news!
