News from PCSV
Greetings from PCS headquarters
Dear friends and shareholders
Check out the latest news from PCS headquarters
With only 38 days remaining until our Annual Shareholder’s Meeting, PCS will be sending weekly updates on our progress in reducing operating costs. The following is an example of how PCS has been reducing legal exposure and costs with our in-house counsel legal team.
As a publicly traded company, PCS faces myriad legal and compliance demands. To meet these demands, and avoid spiraling, unpredictable legal costs, we engaged Britt, Rusty and Josh on a flat-rate basis. This has provided us with a virtual in-house legal team of three lawyers that cost us less than hiring a single, full-time, in-house attorney with 1/3 of the expertise.
Russell “Rusty” Case
Russell Case approaches law from a business perspective. His experience spans twenty-five years of experience as a business attorney, business strategist, and board member, working with start-ups, growth enterprises and established multinationals.
Following graduation from Williams College and Cornell Law School, Russell joined the Kilpatrick law firm in Atlanta, Georgia as a corporate/securities lawyer before transitioning to numerous in-house positions with prominent corporations. Russell has worked extensively with high-technology and growth enterprises, developing and implementing strategic plans. Starting with Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. as group counsel to its broadband communications group, then with BellSouth Corporation advising on international operations and then international mergers and acquisitions, and most recently as general counsel to Virgin Mobile Latin America, Russell has gained a true “inside” perspective on business.
Britt Ide is a lawyer, an engineer, a community leader and a business owner. Britt holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in economics. She also completed the intensive Mediation Training at the Harvard Negotiation Institute. Britt’s diverse work history includes positions at the Ohio and Utah Houses of Representatives, the Battelle Memorial Institute, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, Boise Cascade, Albertsons, Healthwise and Idaho Power. Britt is active in the community and serves on the Board of Directors of the Idaho Nonprofit Center.
Josh’s expertise includes employment and benefits law, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and the Affordable Care Act, (aka “Obamacare”). Before his collaboration with New Frontiers, Josh worked in-house for AmeriBen/IEC Group, a health insurance payer and HR consulting firm, and also Healthwise, a healthcare information and technology company. Josh is President of the Rotary Club of Eagle – Garden City, (ID).
